For the disposal of food waste and garbage in catering facilities are used briquetting or packing presses and press-containers. With the help of presses for packaging are made compact bales of waste from suitable for secondary use materials. Presses for briquetting of waste may be either horizontal or vertical. Horizontal presses are widely used when it is necessary to maximally automate briquetting of large quantities of waste. Vertical presses for briquetting of waste, in its turn, are used for large volumes of waste utilization. There is also another type - special presses for briquetting of waste, which serve for disposal of in-container products (cans, juice, milk, etc.). One more type of waste disposal equipment is press containers, the use of which significantly reduces the cost of rubbish removal. Comparing with conventional containers load capacity of press containers is much higher that is why the in the construction of them is used specific pressing engine. Waste in presses is stored to the full load, which is indicated by a sensor. Such equipment may be installed both indoors and outdoors. Presses for waste include pressing engine, as well as containers, which are divided into two kinds - stationary compactors or monobloc compactors. For the recycling of food waste are used as a rule, bio-compactors (a type of monoblock compactors).
